About Us

Grand Baazar Photo

Our story is rooted in centuries of jewelry tradition and carried forward with modern design.

A Heritage of Centuries

  • Over 500 years of history in Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar – Since its founding in 1461, the Grand Bazaar has been a center of jewelry making. Armenian and Georgian artisans became some of its most respected goldsmiths and jewelers, passing down techniques from generation to generation.
  • Armenian Goldsmiths By the 16th century, Armenian masters were celebrated for their intricate craftsmanship, stone setting, and filigree work.
  • Georgian Artisans For centuries, Georgian jewelers have been known for bold, elegant designs and unique metalwork traditions, merging perfectly with Ottoman and Byzantine influences in Istanbul.

Together, these cultures shaped a jewelry making legacy that still thrives in the Grand Bazaar today.
